As part of an NC3Rs-funded project to increase the uptake of 3D bioprinting approaches, Professor Kenny Dalgarno is organising a series of events to highlight novel bioprinting technology and how it can be used to create in vitro models.

This event, held at Newcastle University, will begin with a demonstration of a novel bioprinting technology, called reactive jet impingement, which offers new capabilities for creating in vitro models to increase their utility to replace animal use. A research seminar in the afternoon session will focus on commercialisation and technologies for in vitro models, with presentations from Aelius Biotech, Alcyomics, NewCells Biotech, and ReproCELL among others.
