All University personnel who supervise or undertake research activities involving animals are trained to carry out their duties with due diligence in a responsible and caring manner. Every member of staff is requested to acknowledge the importance we place on this objective and its delivery, if you have any concern regarding our use or care of animals you should raise those with your line manager and others detailed below.
A key part of our ‘culture of care’ in research with animals is that we listen to your concerns and take action to ensure the welfare of all our animals and staff. To this end, you can contact any of the following people to discuss your concerns:
