General Database Information
The Allen Brain Observatory presents the first standardized in vivo survey of physiological activity in the mouse visual cortex, featuring representations of visually evoked calcium responses from GCaMP6-expressing neurons in selected cortical layers, visual areas and Cre lines.
By generating and making public data that indicates how cells respond to various genetic and environmental stressors, the LINCS project will help us gain a more detailed understanding of cell pathways and aid efforts to develop therapies.
Species specific
This page provides access to searchable, hypertext listings of inbred strains of mice and inbred strains of rats. Both sets of information were provided by Dr. Michael FW Festing (MRC Toxicology Unit) and were converted for Web presentation by the Mouse Genome Informatics Group at The Jackson Laboratory.
The Sanger Mouse Genetics Programme (Sanger MGP) was initiated in 2006 to advance the functional understanding of protein coding and non-coding RNA genes using a standardised high-throughput phenotypic screen designed to contribute to improved diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
INFRAFRONTIER aims to build a world-class research infrastructure that provides the biomedical research community with the tools needed to unravel the role of gene function in human disease.
General information collated to help with the implementation of approaches to reduce and refine the use of GA mice.
These resources are aimed at anyone working with or caring for GA animals, those responsible for recording or maintaining records of GA animals, and/or those involved in the import, export or transport of GA animals.
This gateway provides a place for researchers funded by the NC3Rs to promote the 3Rs impact of their work, and publish rapidly, in an open and transparent manner.
