The Pancreatic Expression Database is a major component of the EU project MolDiag-Paca, whose mission is to bring together leading groups in European pancreatic cancer research from academia and industry to develop novel molecular diagnostic tools.
General Database Information
CELPHEDIA (Creation, Breeding, Phenotyping, Distribution and Archiving of model organisms) is a national operational research infrastructure distributed over the French territory. Its mission is to support academic and industrial scientific community to accelerate discoveries in biology and improve biomedical research.
The Biosciences Federation Animal Science Group was established in December 2002 and launched in September 2003 as an umbrella organisation to promote interaction within the biosciences community, particularly in areas of research and teaching; to provide information to assist the formulation of scientific policy; and, perhaps most challenging of all, to debate the ethical issues surrounding recent advances in the biosciences (see previous report by Nancy Rothwell).
