TSAR is a tool aimed at providing a transparent view on the status of alternative methods as they progress from purely scientific protocols submitted for eventual validation to being actively used in a regulatory context. This tracking system intends to cover all steps, from the initial submission for validation until final adoption by inclusion in the EU legislation and/or related Guidance Documents, when appropriate.

Altweb hosts the journal ALTEX: Alternatives to Animal Experimentation, which is the official publication of the Johns Hopkins Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT).

The Node is a place for you to share news from the developmental biology community, to discuss relevant topics or just see what’s new. And you can do more than reading – we are a community site, so anyone can post on the Node after creating an account. The film of this event, which featured some of the eminent scientists and researchers in the field of alternatives to animal testing, took place on November 22, 2019 at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland.
